We currently have the following open positions:

Field Service Engineer – San Jose, CA.

NOTE:  Local / Bay Area / Silicon Valley, California candidates ONLY                           please. This is NOT an IT / Helpdesk position.

Primary Responsibility:

Responsible for performing on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems.  Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment.  Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. This position requires travel (up to 50%), local, domestic, and/or international.

Level Requirements:

Works on problems of a diverse scope where analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Requires BS degree or equivalent experience (2 to 5 years), good communication skills, and the ability to deal effectively with customers.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

The employee is regularly required to talk & listen, frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and fine finger manipulation, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually moderate cubicle environment or moderate to noisy manufacturing environment.

Salary Range: $35.00 – $50.00 / Per Hour (This is an Hourly / Non-Exempt position)

Field Service Engineer – Hillsboro, OR.

We currently have an opening for a “Field Service Engineer” based out of Hillsboro, Oregon – ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES FROM THE HILLSBORO, OREGON TO APPLY.

Test Engineer – San Jose, CA.

Position Summary:

  • A “Systems-based” background is very desirable.
  • Develop a basic understanding of Checkpoint Optical and Emission based failure analysis system and techniques.
  • Design test plans for the product and ability to perform regression testing by developing and updating test cases to locate latent defects.
  • Hands-on experience in operation, troubleshooting & testing of semiconductor devices or processes using typical failure analysis and defect management tools in a laboratory will be highly beneficial.
  • Partner with Application, Service, and Product teams.
  • Maintain and update defect tracking system.
  • Increase customer satisfaction and improve user experience by delivering high quality performance of our products including Software. 
  • Ongoing customer training and support on our software and application features during Demonstrations / Evaluations.
  • Analytical mindset – strong trouble shooting and thinking out of the box skills.

 Education and Experience:

  • B.S. Degree in any of the following disciplines:
    • Electrical / Electronic Engineering, (background in Computer Science will be a plus)
    • Physics or Chemistry
  • Experience and knowledge with semiconductor devices / optical imaging of semiconductors a big plus.
  • Prior experience working in failure analysis of semiconductor devices or electronic consumer device testing laboratory is a plus.
  • Finding and managing defects in tool operating software is highly desirable.
  • Teamwork and customer relationship management skills are a must.
  • Technical writing skills will be an added advantage.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites.
  • Salary Range: $90k – $110k
